Team Novative were in London on the 14th March for the GPA UK Payroll Summit. The event took place at The Royal Institute of Great Britain, a stunning venue in the centre of London. The agenda was jam-packed with sessions that covered pressing issues in the industry and looked at the challenges affecting payroll & HR professionals.
Novative were exhibiting and had a great day meeting like-minded people in the industry, and we had many interesting conversations.
One of the main topics on the agenda was Global Payroll, and it’s challenges. The first session to cover this was ‘Global Payroll – Key choices and challenges’ presented by Graham Jenkins.
The presentation concentrated on the importance of having a solid payroll strategy and making critical choices for this strategy. This will ultimately affect the design and execution.
Graham Jenkins then went on to explain that a lot of global payroll outsourcing companies push technology as a main selling point. But he disagreed with this and stated service was the pivotal role.
He summarised by stating:
To develop a global payroll strategy requires a rigorous methodology to guide you through the key elements and to ensure your strategy is ‘informed’ and that your choice of 3rd party provider(s) is right for you.
Jenkins presentation was very interesting and made some vital points about the process of creating a Global Payroll Strategy.
Here at Novative we manage clients Global Payroll successfully and are proud to have long-standing partnerships with many of our clients.
We agree with Jenkins that service is vital to this success, this is why we work very closely with our clients and listen to all their needs and pay attention to details to achieve the Global payroll strategy to ensure success for their business.
Thank you to everyone who came by our stand, until next year!
